Picasso's Guernica
I did find this view 3D of Picasso's Guernica interesting to watch. This was painted after the massacre which occurs in the town of Guernica in 1937.....

Saint Remy-Asylum Saint Paul de Mosole-Vincent van Gogh
Gouvix near Caen (my family place)
Church of Gouvix, a very nice example of Norman architecture of the 13th century.
This is the Lavoir where women of the village of Gouvix went and did their laundry....very romantic but it must have been cold and lots of hard work....
View of the little village of Gouvix, located between Caen and Falaise. It is situated in a little valley of the River Laize.....There is also a nice chateau, le Chateau d'Outrelaize, early 17th century or Henri IV style, surrounded by beautiful woods. It was a great place to go, as a child, to play hide and seek and gather berries or chestnuts...In the park surrounding the Chateau, there is a Menhir, called la Pierre Tourneresse.

A TGV on the Seine, seen two years ago
This was quite an event to see a TGV on the Seine. It had performed very well.. When will we see in USA a TGV on the Mississipi River.....I hope soon, I would love to go to Minneapolis in less than three hours.
Visit iMinds for all types of gossips and knowledge
I am listening to iMinds recommended by Jonathan Margolis in Technopolis of the Financial Times. I am learning all kinds of things on Films Noirs, for instance. Great App if you want to learn something on your way to work or to bed or when you are taking your bath. You can get it through the Apple iTunes store and play it on your iPhone, iPod Touch and soon iPad....
I have learnt about Confucius, now I am learning about fireworks which were invented in China... a mixture of sulfur, saltpeter, and charcoal added to the mix. Gunpowder was used during Chinese New Year. Fireworks spread to India, and then to Europe.....magnesium was used to produce extremely bright light....
Lots of fun.....I can assure you
Sintra, near Lisboa, Portugal
I loved the town of Sintra, located near Lisboa. It is a very peaceful town with many palaces and beautiful gardens. The vegetation is very abundant and the houses painted pink and ochre are very attractive......I would love to go back...
Thoughts of the Day
I was looking at a seed catalog Thomson @ Morgan, to day. It was so great to see all those beautiful flowers and those good looking vegetables. I really feel like gardening soon. But we still have three months of winter. It seems so long. I have to live with memories of last year..and some nice photos of my garden.

Carré Hermès-Cheval Turc
Carré Hermès-----Cheval Turc
Over the years, I have been very fortunate to receive many beautiful scarves from Hermès or Ferragamo or others. I thought I would take pictures and post them in my blog and share their beauty with others.....Some are getting old but are in good conditions.
